The Senior Engineer will be immersed in writing technical specifications and designing and developing solutions in Informatica or any other ETL Tool, unit testing according to specifications, resolving urgent incidents, participating in work sessions with functional teams including but not limited to accounting/finance, operations, and product-line business units, and supporting data manipulation and displaying data to end users.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Familiar with RDBMS like Oracle and SQL Server, design and understanding the data modeling, and SQL experience involving multiple, complex queries
• Analyze highly complex business requirements, design and write technical specifications to design or redesign complex ETL solutions
• Perform detailed data analysis to understand the source system data
• Review physical Database objects including staging, materialized views, indexes and convert the same in ETL
• Manage and improve PL/SQL code that automates monitoring of data extracts complex data
• Responsible for the development/modification and Implementation of Informatica jobs and ETL processes for Data Marts
• Hands on experience in Design, Development, Build & Test activities in Informatica
• Understanding of the SDLC, good practices and experience with different development and change management tools
• Experience in troubleshooting of Informatica jobs and addressing production issues like performance tuning and enhancement
• Knowledge on Unix/Linux, Shell Scripting will be an added advantage
• Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs and to be able to work with the remote teams
