Analog Design Engineer
Job Description:
The MCU16 microcontroller group is seeking an experienced Analog Design Manager with a strong background in analog and mixed signal CMOS IC design. The design manager will be responsible for managing a cross-site team of experienced engineers responsible for the development of high performance analog IP and its integration into MCU16’s microcontroller products.
Job duties include:
· Manage a team comprising of analog IP designers, layout designers, I/O designers, validation engineers and SoC analog integration engineers
· Leading the development of power management IP (Bandgap, LDO, BUCK), opamps, high-speed data converters, PLLs, oscillators, etc
· Mentor and develop junior engineers
· Review layouts with strong understanding of sensitive signals, parasitics, ESD/Latchup, DRC and LVS
· Conduct design reviews; lead meetings; write IP application notes
· Work with customers in silicon debug; this includes working with external and internal customers as well as cross functional teams (application team, failure analysis team, and yield enhancement team)
· Interface with and support CAD, architecture, application, product & test engineering teams
